The Story

This is one of the original cheese spreads that started it all. During the 1970s, the oil embargo was a burden for the shop, depending so strongly on imports. Our founders, Danny and Joe, turned to Wisconsin cheddar producers to provide the base for their now-infamous cheese spreads.

Usage Tips

You’ll have no shame evoking restaurant memories with our favorite garlic bread: a split baguette spread with a blend of butter, Grated Pecorino Romano, and Garlic & Herb Spread. When you place this under the broiler, you’ll know it’s done by the tell-tale browning ridges. You may skip the main course altogether, but don’t you’ll probably have a hankering for a big plate of spaghetti with Di Bruno Bros. Sweet Basil and Garlic Tomato Sauce.
